D’tigers Camp Trimmed To 16



As Nigeria continues its preparations for the 2017 Afrobasket, D’tigers handlers have trimmed the number of players in camp from 24 to 16.
Eight of the 14 home based players invited have been released to their various premier league teams.
While, 10 foreign based professionals including Captain Ike Diogu and Washington Wizard’s Center, Daniel Ochefu are in the Lagos camp.
D’tigers final roster will be released tomorrow ahead of their departure for the tournament which tips off on Friday, September 8.

‘Prices Of Petrol, Cooking Gas Have Crashed Nationwide’ -NNPC

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) says sustained strategic intervention in the efficient supply and distribution of petroleum products has led to significant fall in the prices of premium motor spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), also known as cooking gas, nationwide. In a statement on Sunday, Ndu Ughamadu, spokesman of the corporation, said a national survey by oil and gas forum, NNPC’s weekly TV programme, indicated that in the last few weeks, the price of petrol has fallen steadily from N145 per litre to between N142 and N143 per litre in some stations across the country. European football’s governing body is already investigating if Paris St-Germain has broken rules designed to stop clubs from ‘financial doping’. La Liga president Javier Tebas said City and PSG’s “funding by state-aid distorts European competitions; however, reports say UEFA has no intention of opening an investigation into City at this stage.
